Organic Isla Blouse - Undyed - Made to order
Designed and handmade in London, maintaining the quality and craftsmanship of traditional couture.
Featuring the label’s signature detachable collar, the Isla blouse is crafted from the most sustainable materials provided by nature. It is defined by a sailor-style collar and antique french-made glass buttons from 1930s.
BEYOND THE LABEL
Crafted locally in London from GOTS certified organic, untreated and fair-trade cotton
Antique glass buttons from 1930s, made in France
Eco-friendly buttons with a natural marbling hue. They are made from tagua nut, known as "vegetable ivory", a sustainable and biodegradable source. They are naturally collected from fallen nuts to avoid harming the rainforest and are manufactured in small family run factories who share our values
Fine biological sewing thread, made from plant-based cellulose wood pulp, produced ethically in Portugal
GOTS certified organic labels, made in France
Chemical-free, no toxic chemical residues
Eco biodegradable/recycled packaging - box, envelope, paper, tissue paper made in England
Every single material we craft from come from the earth. Each piece is biodegradable, made solely from plant-based fibres produced from organic agriculture. No chemicals, no toxic dyes, no syntetic fibres or elastane. Only the plant fibre, with its natural colour, stretch and texture.
One aspect of our brand ethos is to help to develop a deeper appreciation of the things we own, fostering a culture of reusing and repair.
We design with the desire for each piece to be circulated responsibly in society as long as possible. Every Aestethic product comes with one promise : we will be here to help care for your garments for years to come.
Our regenerative “ take, make, repair” model sits as an antipode to the traditional linear model ‘take, make, dispose’- this model is crucially aimed at minimising waste and maximising resources.
